LibTiePie Software Development Kit
The LibTiePie Software Development Kit is a cross platform library for writing software for TiePie engineering USB oscilloscopes and arbitrary function generators and using them through third party software on various Windows and Linux platforms as well as embedded platforms like Raspberry Pi, Beaglebone Black, etc..
With LibTiePie, you can use your favorite measuring environment to acquire the data you want. Integrate your TiePie engineering instrument in your complete setup and control it all from your own software. This allows for a very flexible measuring setup, which is virtually unlimited in possibilities.
Supported instruments
LibTiePie supports the following TiePie engineering instruments:
LibTiePie gives full access to all features of all connected oscilloscopes, all settings can be made, both block mode and streaming mode measurements can be performed and all measured data can be collected. Arbitrary Waveform Generators can be fully setup and waveform patterns can be uploaded.
Combining instruments is fully controlled by LibTiePie, no complicated settings have to be performed. A combined instrument can be accessed in the same way as a single instrument, making working with combined instruments as simple as working with single instruments.
Supported platforms
LibTiePie support is available for both Windows platforms and Linux platforms.
For Windows, both a 32 bit version and a 64 bit version is available.
For Linux, versions for Intel, AMD 32/64 and ARM are available, allowing to use your TiePie engineering instrument via LibTiePie on desktop systems as well as embedded Linux boards like Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone Black, RIotboard, Wandboard Dual, Hardkernel Odroid boards etc.
Bindings and examples
LibTiePie can be used by any programming/scripting environment that supports controlling instruments via libraries. Language bindings and programming examples are available for:
Full API documentation can be found on the LibTiePie API documentation website.
The LibTiePie SDK, the programming language bindings and example applications can all be downloaded from the LibTiePie pages on our website.
